Beth Bousfield is the Director of Bands at Mason Public Schools for grades eight through twelve. Upon completion of her Master of Music degree at Michigan State University, Beth began her teaching career in the Willow Run Community Schools in Ypsilanti. While serving as the Director of Bands in the Grass Lake Community Schools, Beth lead the High School Band to State Festival and on tour to Cedar Point, Toronto, and Washington D.C. The travels with the Mason Bands include State Festival, Cedar Point, Mackinac Island, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Washington D.C., Disney World and Toronto. Beth is a woodwind specialist and enjoys performing in the central Michigan area. In addition to teaching in the public school system, she was the saxophone instructor at Albion College for eleven years. Beth received her Bachelor of Music Education at Bowling Green State University and her Master of Music degree in woodwind performance from Michigan State University. In 2019 Beth was inducted into the American School Band Directors Association. Beth resides in Mason with her husband, Jon Droscha.
